Overview

Admire Pledge Sync (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension designed to help authorized users synchronize pledge and donation data entered within the Admire web application with external systems such as spreadsheets, or peer-to-peer fundraising platforms.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension processes, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information the Extension Processes

The Extension processes only data explicitly entered by the user within the Admire web application during normal business workflows.

This may include:

• Donor / account name
• Campaign name
• Pledge amount
• Pledge type (one-time or recurring)
• Notes entered by the user
• Pledge date
• Current page URL within Admire

The Extension does not collect data automatically in the background and does not access information outside of the Admire application pages on which it is enabled.

How the Data Is Used

The Extension processes data solely to fulfill its single purpose:

Synchronizing offline pledges entered in Admire with an external, user-configured endpoint (such as a Google Apps Script or peer-to-peer fundraising system).

Data is transmitted only when the user saves a pledge and only to the endpoint explicitly configured by the user in the Extension’s settings.

Data Storage

The Extension uses Chrome’s built-in storage (chrome.storage.sync) only to store user configuration settings, such as:

• The webhook or Web App URL
• The list of campaign names to sync

The Extension does not store pledge or donor data persistently inside the browser.

Data Sharing

• The Extension does not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.
• Data is transmitted only to destinations explicitly configured by the user.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling services are used.

Remote Code Execution

The Extension does not download, execute, or evaluate remote code.

All executable logic is bundled locally within the Extension package.
Remote communication is limited to HTTPS POST requests sending JSON data to user-configured endpoints.

Permissions

The Extension requests access only to:

• Admire application domains (to read pledge data entered by the user)
• A user-configured external endpoint (to transmit pledge data)
• Chrome storage (to save user settings)

No access is requested to unrelated websites, browsing history, or personal browser data.

User Control

Users have full control over:

• Whether the Extension is installed or enabled
• Which campaigns are synced
• Where data is sent (by configuring or removing the external endpoint)

Disabling or uninstalling the Extension immediately stops all data processing.

Security

Data is transmitted using HTTPS.
No data is transmitted unless explicitly triggered by a user action (saving a pledge).

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Extension’s functionality or applicable requirements. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last updated” date.
